Gates
We offer a wide range of gates here at Thaxters including field gates and side gates. All our gates are manufactured by Charltons of Frome, Somerset.
A royal warranted firm for the last 20 years, Charltons produce gates that meet our own exacting standards and we are very happy to work with them as their Norfolk stockists.
Our most popular gates are our 5 bar field gates. All of our 5 bar gates are universal so that they can be hung from either the left or the right. Standard sizes range from 3’ (0.915m) to 12’ (3.66m) wide with a height of 3’7” (1.09m) to the top of the top rail. We can also get other sizes in on special orders.

Square Fencing & Gate Posts
Our square fencing posts come in a variety of sizes ranging from 1.8m to 3m to help suit any job.
Our wooden square fence posts are all green pressure treated to help prolong life. We stock these in many sizes in both 75×75, 100×100 and 125×75.
Our wooden gate posts are all green pressure treated and come in 2.4m lengths in both 150×150 and 200×200.
